If you live close to our repair centre in Barry, near Cardiff, we can collect your iPod from your home or workplace for free before delivering it back to you once it is working again. You can also drop it off at our premises in person. If you live elsewhere in the UK, we can arrange to collect your iPod using a courier service for an additional charge.

All our repairs are covered by a 12-month warranty and we aim to mend the majority of items within two to five days and sooner if possible.

If you live near our premises, collection and delivery is free, otherwise there is an additional charge to cover the cost of using a courier service.

We can fix many problems within one day but whatever the issue, we will aim to complete the majority of repairs within two to five days. Will I lose my data?

We will do everything we can to protect your data and we will take a backup of all your files before we carry out any major repairs. We also advise all our customers to back up their own data before sending their iPad or iPod in to be mended.

Do your repairs come with a warranty?

We are confident in the quality of the work we do so we are happy to offer a 12-month warranty on our iPad and iPod repairs. If you do experience the same problem within a year of us mending your Apple device, we will resolve the issue for you free of charge.

How can I pay for my repair?

We accept cash, card payments and bank transfers. You can also pay for your repair using a cheque and PayPal but we ask customers to wait until we have received the money before they collect their item. Businesses and schools can also set up their own account with Greenpoint IT to pay for their repairs.

Do you offer a discount to schools?

Yes, Greenpoint IT is pleased to offer a discount to schools. Customers can set up an account here or by emailing schools@greenpoint-it.co.uk

Do you accept Purchase Orders?

Yes, Greenpoint IT accepts purchase orders from schools and government organisations. We currently work for a large number of schools and businesses, carrying out regular repairs to their computers and devices.

How long have you been in business?

Greenpoint IT has been repairing computers, phones, games consoles and gadgets since 2007. However, our technicians have more than 10 years’ experience in carrying out repairs.

 Will you collect my device?

Yes, if you are based in the Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan area, we will arrange for your item to be collected from you and delivered back after the repair for FREE. If you live in another area, we use a courier service to collect and deliver equipment and there will a modest charge. Please get in touch with us to check whether your address is eligible for our free collection service.

Can I bring my iPod or iPad to you?

Of course, our customers are welcome to bring their iPads, iPods or other items to our base in Barry, South Wales. We are open from 9.30am to 5.30pm on weekdays and 9.30am to 3pm on Saturdays.

Will I still have to pay if you can’t fix my computer?

No, at Greenpoint IT we operate a No Fix, No Fee policy. If we can’t mend your iPod or iPad, then we won’t charge you a penny. We will also make sure you know exactly how much the repair will cost before we start.

How long will the repair take?

We can fix many common problems within a day although some issues will take longer. We complete the majority of repairs with two to five days. We will let you know the timescale for your repair when you book.

Are you insured?

Yes, we are fully insured just in case the unexpected happens.

Do you use genuine parts?

Greenpoint IT only ever uses high quality genuine grade A parts in our repairs. We stock a wide range of spare parts which are available for customers to buy if they want to carry out a repair themselves or replace a broken item.

Do you need my pass code?

Yes we do. It is important that we have your pass code so we can fully test out your device after the repair has been carried out to check it is working properly.

Can you repair iPads or iPods which have been damaged by water?

Yes we can. We can fix almost any problem and if we can’t, we won’t charge you a penny.

What is your data protection policy?

Greenpoint IT will treat all your data in the strictest confidence and we will never pass on or use any of your information. Your pass code will only be used to carry out vital tests as part of the repair process.
